I recently had my liking function blocked because I had been liking to many songs in a given time period, but, since I was liking songs through the SoundCloud mobile app (Android), I didn't get a warning saying that I was liking too many songs, or a notice that my liking feature had been blocked. If I had received the warning on my phone, I would have been able to stop liking songs, and avoid my current 4 day block from liking.
