Hi, I'm sorry but I'm going to directly ask. I have budget $600, can give me suggestion what laptop should I buy for mixing some melodies, the result will be trance music, club mix, techno all type that kind of music. Thank you very much. Oh, yea, I'm using FL Studio.

Hi there,

I don't think this is really the right forum for that question (this is really for soundcloud specific queries/issues), you'd be better going to a more specific computer music based forum, you can certainly try : http://audiojungle.net/forums or http://www.stayonbeat.com/ , basically a quick google search will give you an array of options.

All I will say is that if you are doing virtual dj mixing on the laptop, you will need either a laptop with 2 soundcards installed (which will probably tip you over budget) or a more standard laptop with an external dj controller with its own built in sound cards, in which case you don't really need a top of the line laptop, i dabble a bit with virtual djing and I use a reconditioned laptop that cost me £40 ($60-ish) and a hercules dj controller off ebay for about £25 ($40-ish) virtual djing software can run on fairly old spec machines so , while you can certainly spend a lot, it doesn't mean that you have to, but, again, do a bit of google research first.

If you are looking at music production (as you stated FL studio) then shop around, get the best spec for your money and, certainly, try some more specific computer music related forums for more dedicated suggestions as the best laptop to go for.

Hope this at least points you in the right direction

Yea..I think you're right. I've been searching on Google actually, but most of it posted on two or three years old, I'm desperate's before, but glad you've replied my question, need friends to share, thanks bro.
And I was already asked in some dj forum, but my question not being replied yet, perhaps they were busy. But thanks again bro, your advice's really helpful, and thanks for the link's also.

See you around. 😉
