Soundcloud newest updates make it look like spotify (March 2019)

Soundcloud currently updated its platform and took away the community playlist feature which allowed its users to share playlists with each other. After reviewing the update and recieving multiple email from our soundcloud network & reddit forums, everyone keeps saying while are they trying to be like spotify? The reason why people loved Soundcloud over Spotify was because of the community feel it had on their platform. The new update now makes it FEEL and LOOK like spotify. We should start a petition to have soundcloud bring back (1) section under discovery for community playlists again. Users, help us bring back the community playlists and Reply using hashtag #SCplaylists or share with us what you think?

Hey WCR,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure what you're referring to by the "community playlist feature" though - the new curated playlists have not replaced any other playlists. (unless I'm missing something).
Thats odd??? Since the beginning of Soundcloud, the community of users have had their playlists featured. The past 2 years it has been under the discovery section (Party, study, chill, workout, sleep & relax). That whole section has now been removed from Soundcloud and updated with only SC curators. How long have you been a Soundcloud user, its a little odd that you arent that familiar with the platform?
