Can't add a new e-mail into my account?

When I try to add a new e-mail into my soundcloud account (with the purpose of changing the primary mail), I get the message "this e-mail is already in use" but that e-mail i'm trying to input is not being used by soundcloud.

In fact, when you input that e-mail (the one I'm trying to add) in the login soundcloud screen, it bounces you straight into "create new account"; if this mail were already used, then it wouldn't do this and would ask me to input my password.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The e-mail is a corporate one btw (with a custom domain)
