Failed upload from Garageband

I have tried uploading a second podcast close to 7 or 8 times now. A pop up tells me that it failed to upload over and over again. I am doing everything the same as the first time except now it won't work. The file is a little larger but nowhere near as large as your cap. Please help.

What browser are you using?

Maybe run an update and update your flash

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

SC is heavy on the flash so sometimes rebooting etc can help

Also, check your file format (mp3 is best)

Hope this helps 🙂

I am using Safari, but I am uploading it through GarageBand which has a direct to Soundcloud feature. It converts it to AAC and consistently says it failed to upload. I have tried nearly 10 times now, its a bit frustrating.

AAC is a big file size man (like wave or .aiff)

try a 320k Mp3 maybe and do an separate upload (not from the software, as these can be very temperamental)

How do I do that through GarageBand? Or on a Mac? I don't know how to convert file types, this is my first mac.

Fair enough

Just 'bounce' an Mp3 out of Garageband
this should help 🙂
