This has probably been mentioned before, but I think it's a good idea for the apps and desktop site to have a night mode, like Youtube and Reddit have for example. It will be easier on the eyes if you use the desktop site and apps at night. What do you think?

Hi there,

Thanks for your input. This is currently not something that SoundCloud is planning for immediate release. There might be 3rd party developers with alternate options though, at least for your desktop browser. 😉
Just reminded me to turn on that Darth Vader themed app.

A good CSS designer could create a basic night mode option for the profile page in under 3 business days, dark background, replace all black with light grey, the Soundcloud orange will actually look great against dark colours (Like in the current menu bar on the desktop version of the website). Obviously if there's a post here every couple months about it, then it's a feature people want.

The current implementation is horrendously white (/pepe).

So, how can we put it in Soundcloud team's "not so imediate" plans? ;)
Is there a place for voting on next features?
As Colley said, it doesn't seem to be a haaarrrd feature, and would be very nice to have it without the 3rd party stuff... Maybe you could simply incorporate it. Our eyes and phone batteries thank you!
