Offline listening for Soundcloud GO does NOT WORK if you have wifi and data turned off

I purchased GO in order to listen to tracks when backpacking in remote areas. The Soundcloud app will not let me access offline playlists if I do not have a connection to wifi or a data signal from my carrier. I can enter the playlist and it shows the Globe/internet icon and says "check your internet connection".

What is the point of this feature if I have to be connected to the internet to access my Offline playlist? I will be unsubscribing from this service if this is not addressed.

I don't blame you. Soundcloud is riddled with bugs. Updates just seem to fix old bugs and make new ones. Support is non existent.
