Problem Sound quality mob app not solved

Hi, i came across a recent thread concerning this matter. It has been labelled 'solved' in a minute (without a proper fix from soundcloud), but truth is the problem isn't solved at all. As far as i can see, its quite the opposite...There are still lots of people complaining about their tracks sounding terrible when using the mobile app. I'm having this problem with one of my tracks as well since a few days. Please take this seriously..thanks from a paying customer

Same problem since 2 days. Are you using iZotope Ozone 7 for mastering? I think that is the reason.
Hope soundcloud fixes this!

I'm not using ozone..dont think this has anything to do with this. Problem lies on the soundcloud side..sorry to say but they dont seem to care much..they label this 'solved' and move on.

and flipping the phase of your track as suggested in the other thread isn't working at all....

I tried it on android and ios. The audio is perfect before upload and with earphones, but when played through teh iphone 6 or glaxy s6 it is all glitchy through your app??? The phones are in good condition and new.

Hi there @MAJOR 3RD and @SOUD OF ZAIGA,

Thanks for providing the track titles / URLs to those tracks - I've had our engineers look into this. Can you please go to your app, pull down the screen so the app refreshes, then play the track in question and see if the sound is still distorted?

Let us know here is this has worked so I can confirm with the engineers.

HI Mathis, the crackling and glitch has now gone! on that track so its fixed 🙂 However I tried uploading a few other tracks and the same track again and they have the crackling glitch when played via mobile speaker? See these links...

Hi again @SOUND OF ZAIGA,

The other tracks should now also be sorted. It looks like something with our backend playback engine is not optimized which is causing this issue for some users. Our engineers are currently looking into this, so this can hopefully be fixed for good soon.

sorry to bother you again Mathis, but as you can see on the forum there are still many complaints about the soundquality on the mobile app (especially iphone). here's another example..
