Sign in error via iOS App

Fix it!!!

Have tried all methods from this topic - https://soundcloudcommunity.com/trust-safety-229932/i-can-t-sign-in-to-my-account-on-my-phone-6652303 . They are usless for me.

Also I trying to Sign in from Android Phone, having same error - https://soundcloudcommunity.com/android-230073/sign-in-error-via-android-app-7408716 .


Access to the web version is fine.

Hmm, sorry to hear that - if this issue persists, please make sure you're up to the latest version of the mobile app. If this is already the case, try deleting the app, restart your phone, then download it again (please note if you have a SoundCloud Go / Go+ subscription, you'll have to re-downloaded any content you have downloaded for offline listening. Sorry about that).

Hopefully, this will sort out any glitches. Let the community know how it went.

Why problem is marked as solved, when it’s NOT! Deleting application, rebooting the phone, installing SoundCloud again does not helping! It’s not the solution!!!

Guys, i've solved the problem myself. I supposed that it might be a conflict between two accounts. So i checked my previous iphone - and yes, i had been logged in. I logged out and then i sucessfully logged in on my new device.

Hope it will help you too..
Same problem. I'm on an iPhone 6s. Latest iOS and latest sound cloud app (as of today 11.17.18). This issue has been happening for a month. I have uninstalled the app. Re-installed. Re-started my phone, created new passwords on the website, etc. Nothing seems to work at all!

Please SOUNDCLOUD, take a look at this issue!!
I have the same problem with my iPhone XR. I cannot sign into the app and have tried over and over, doing all the above with absolutely no luck.
Sundcloud support emailed me, after explaining that I cannot sign in successfully using the app, with a link:
“If necessary, you can also generate a password reset email by yourself ”here”

By clicking “here” and not changing my password (which I have changed twice now) is the ONLY way I can access my Soundcloud account on my iPhone XR. The app seems totally useless in trying to sign into it.
I had same issue and found the solution for me.

Simply press "forgot my password". When typing the new password also check the box "sign me out everywhere". Voila, after that it works.
Seems when I changed my iPhone i was stilled logged in on my old phone, even though I made the factory resets.
I did that several times over of checking “forgot my password” only but I did not sign out on my tablet. I could be still signed in on my old iPhone tho. Hmmm
I find it odd that you have to sign out on one to sign in on the other, which begs the question:
if I sign out on my tablet and then sign in on the app on my iPhone XR, will I be able to sign back in on my tablet or will I be shut out on my tablet?
Other apps are not required to “sign out everywhere” to sign into their app.
Something is truly amiss.
Were you in the app when you chose “forgot my password”?
It prompts me to go to the website to do that but when I try to go to the website on my iPhone XR, I can only search music. I cannot sign in anywhere and thus cannot select “forgot my password” there on my phone despite being on the website.
I can only get the website on my phone from an email that I luckily saved that Soundcloud sent me.
I may try from that email but seriously, at this point, I am getting nowhere on signing in on the app.
Why is this so damn difficult?!!
So I tried that. Chose “sign out everywhere”
Same result.
I cannot sign into the app on my iPhone with changing my password.
So after several tries to sign into the app with no luck, I went to my tablet and was able to back sign in.
Again, this shouldn’t be so difficult to sign into the app.

So I got out my old iPhone.
Signed out on Soundcloud on it.
Signed out on my tablet.
I still cannot sign in on the app with my new password.
Worthless.
I give up.

That is weird, it worked for me. And yes, I was doing it with the SoundCloud APP.
When I pressed "forgot my password" I was redirected to a web page I believe. Once there, I changed the password and ticked the box "log me out on all devices". After that I restarted the APP and I could log in again.
I appreciate your “help” and super glad it worked for you.
It just doesn’t make any sense.
It is 2019 and a (changed) password should sign you in plain and simple.
I just download Mixcloud instead on my iPhone. No issues. No hassles signing in.

This is such an utterly terrible app. The error still persists

Amazing how this app will not let users sign in even after ALL the emails instructing you to do the same thing over and over with ZERO RESULTS!
