Help please. RSS feed - episode unavailable error

Ok so,

my RSS has been functioning for 2 years + now. With very little error via iTunes.

For the last week, it continually fails to play any content and gives an "episode temporarily unavailable" error for every episode.

This persisted for the full week and has only started working again today.

What causes it and how can I rectify it please? It seems to be happening every month.

Where are you seeing the "episode temporarily unavailable" message? If it's within the iOS Podcasts app, this seems to be an intermittent problem happening to many different shows within that app for no apparent reason. Unsubscribe to the podcast within the Podcasts app and resubscribe and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the reply Shawn.,

Yep. Via iOS.

I'm pretty sure this error is costing me plays.
Think they'll rectify this any time soon?

I just looked up your show using desktop iTunes on my iMac and the iTunes preview for episode 043 played just fine. So, I don't think this is a systemwide problem. As far as when Apple might fix this problem, I have no idea.

I ran your SoundCloud feed:
Thru the Podbase validator and everything came up fine. I don't think there's a technical issue here on your end. You can try contacting iTunes support by clicking the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page if you want to report the problem to them:

Hi Oliver,

Hope you were able to sort this out in the meantime. I've just double checked your account settings from our end, and it looks fine. Hence, if this issue persists for you, please look and see what the iTunes support recommends.

All the best
We are currently experiencing the same issue when trying to download our podcast using 4G data. It works perfectly fine when connected to WiFi though, so it makes it impossible to access our podcasts when people are on the move.

I've had several people report the same issue to me regarding our feed, but not with any other podcasts that they listen to, and I have tested this myself.

As such I can only conclude that it must be an issue with Soundcloud. Unless it can be rectified we will have to migrate to another service.
Hello Everyone, I'm having the exact same issue with friends reporting that my Air Brooklyn podcast appears to have episodes "temporarily unavailable."

It seems this is more likely to occur with the most recent ones, but for some users it's now occurring for all of them. Very annoying, and I have no idea how to fix.

Here's my feed:

Thanks for any insights you may be able to provide.
