Question

403 Forbidden Error on RSS-Feed Track-Download

iTunes Delivery was working fine until yesterday. Now iTunes can not download any Tracks. It seems to be a Soundcloud-Issue though because I also get a "403 - Request forbidden by administrative rules"-Error when trying to access any Track directly through the RSS-Feed. I did not touch any Settings, only uploaded two new tracks - but it affects all the old tracks as well.

Any idea what this could be?

Oh that's interesting, so it could be a general Soundcloud issue then? Let's see what they come back with.

It would appear so. I'm having trouble imagining anything else. At first I thought maybe a payment-problem so my subscription for Pro was revoked but all is fine and golden there as well. If anybody else is seeing this it would be interesting to know.

I've also tried and de- and re-activated permissions. Didn't help. RSS-Downloads simply seem inaccessible at this time although downloads and streaming directly from Soundcloud works fine as far as I can tell.

If you click any of the media-links you'll see
I'm hearing the same problem from other people hosted on Soundcloud now. This is almost certainly an issue on their end.
Thanks for the update, on the one hand it's good to know that it's not necessarily a problem with my feed, however on the other hand it's still not good that it's not working!
I'm having the same problem. I use Blubrry in my blog and it is not validating the feeds. When I try to run the feed directly on the browser, error 403 shows up. This is my feed: http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:188281835/sounds.rss. But it is exactly the same problem.
they put up a blog saying they were doing maintenance last night and it would affect the rss feeds , but it seems they have out right broken them
It is extremely frustrating that they are not communicating with us either.

Yeah...well that seems like the RSS is affected alright. 😉 I wish they'd give a timeframe to pass on to our listeners. Ah well...
yer this is what has annoyed me the most the lack of communication on how long of a time frame this is going to be so i can inform my listeners. this hurts my show and will be looking for a new host site i think

I am looking at Libsyn right now.

this is exactly what is happening to me right now -- was freaking out glad to see it's not just me being an idiot.

Me to. This is so frustrating, and really hurting my podcast. When will this problem be fixed?
