Use of api without client_id

Hi there, since the app registration has been closed for over a year now (not good that it takes so long to fix this). It seems to be possible to use a url to the "playlist" without using a client_id, player use with link to api (ex: https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/users/{userID}&color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false)

I wanted to use this url in our app (javascript SDK), but according to your terms of service, this is not allowed without a client_id. How am I able to use the player (and playlist of ours), in our app, if the registration for the client_id is closed??

I would very much like to know how to fix this?
Is the registration opening any time soon? Why is it mandatory, but you can't register? Better not make it mandatory in the terms of service (our app has been rejected because of this issue).
