Question

Any way to export entire list of favorites?

So first thing's first -- I absolutely love and live on soundcloud. The site is phenomenal and exposes you to music you never thought possible....

But, a problem comes with that. I have 2000+ likes and because of the way the site is designed now, it's very difficult to revisit likes from days since passed. Is there a way to just export your favorites list? I don't want to mass download or anything like that, literally just a .csv file or something with artist and track title of all my favorites.

I know it's in there, sitting in the database. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Hi khantusion,

Thanks for posting. Glad to hear you enjoy SoundCloud 🙂 Unfortunately, there is not an option to do this at this point. We've recently introduced the "Collection" (top menu bar, left hand side), which loads your likes much quicker then they used to - maybe this helps a bit already.

Otherwise, I've researched this just now to see if there are others out there who've used our public api to build something like this, and I found this: https://ifttt.com/recipes/62013-if-i-like-a-track-on-soundcloud-download-that-track-in-dropbox --> Maybe a good way to start for the tracks that have downloads enabled? :-)

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Mathis

They're not going to let you export anything because they want to hold your data hostage to keep you from fleeing to other music services.
I have been interested in doing this as well, and I just found this:

I haven't tried it yet but hopefully will work!

Any possible way you can do this for artists your following?

A nice copy/Paste of the whole page on Excel works. You'll then need to process the file a bit, but nothing thaht needs special Excel skills!
You end up with an excel sheet with links to all your soundcloud favorites!

Jack3.5, a copy of which page exactly?
And how to perform such a copy on Android? (assuming we are talking mobile here)
Thanks.
