File Original Metadata is Wrong

Hi everyone! I need some help. I've recently uploaded a new song and I've relized that some of the original metadata is wrong. Title must be "Imaginary Dark Edition" but the first "a" is missing. I've edited as far as I can, by using SoundCloud Metadata Editor, but when downloading the song it is still wrong. At first you see the title is fine, but when opening the file with any music player you see the tag inside the file is wrong. How could I do to change it without replacing the file? I don't want to lose all my stats. Thenk you very much in advance.

Hi Carmela,

Editing the metadata on SoundCloud doesn't interfere with the original file that you've uploaded. If you wanted to edit that, you'd have to do so on the original file and upload the new file.

Pro & Pro Unlimited users can do so via the replace file feature. Free users can only upload the track again, with the downside of losing play counts and comments of the previous version of the track.

OK! It is clear! Thank you very much for your time 🙂
