Major soundcloud database problem: a lot of old and popular tracks have lost their plays and likes counts!

Looks like a lot of older tracks don't have a play count or like count anymore. It seems to be affecting tracks older than about a year, the older they are the more they are affected. The tracks definitely had a lot of plays, because they have a lot of comments.

Here are a few tracks that exhibit the problem:
https://soundcloud.com/platform/richie-hawtin-1-hour-45-min
https://soundcloud.com/platform/richie-hawtin-55-min-boiler
https://soundcloud.com/platform/br-amsterdam-richie-hawtin
https://soundcloud.com/platform/maceo-plex-45-min-boiler-room
https://soundcloud.com/platform/maceo-plex-65-min-boiler-room
https://soundcloud.com/platform/tale-of-us-60-min-boiler-room
https://soundcloud.com/platform/carl-cox-45-min-boiler-room

I've been trying to curate a list of most popular Boiler Room mixes, and ran into the problem. I can find hundreds more tracks that have the same issue.

Some older tracks like https://soundcloud.com/platform/br17-sven-v-th don't have this issue, so I'm hoping it's something you can fix.

Thanks.

Hi there kovach,

Thanks for getting in touch. I've looked into this for you and it looks like the uploading artists have actually chosen to not show the stats for their tracks, so this is actually expected behavior.

Hope this helps to shed some light on this.
OK, got it, my bad.

No worries, glad I was able to shed some light on this for you.
Hi Mathis,

I am not sure if the same happened to me but what i need actually is much simpler than getting back my lost playlist contents.

I have a playlist called Kizomba and it was full of tracks. One day i signed in and found only 3 inside it. I guess the explanation you gave above applies here. Which is no issue at all however, i usually use the lists like a notepad, so the track names and artist names are what matters to me.

Is there anyway i can get this data back ? like a text file list of all tracks that ever entered that playlist or all playlists (in case something else disappeared and i did not notice).

Please tell me this is possible. I lost track of a lot of good artists and good music in this turmoil, and i can't buy their material if i have no reference and Souncloud was the only reference to those for me.

Because of this problem i actually recently decided to try and screenshoot or copy paste all the text that is in my playlist on. It feels like a volatile content to me now. At least there should be a way to know what i had but can not access anymore.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Thank you.
