Hi there,

I'm not entirely sure what seems to be the exact issue. If your app doesn't seem to open, please try to restart your device and make sure you have installed the most recent version of the app from the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). If this doesn't help, consider deleting the app, restart your phone again, then download & install the app for a fresh start.

You wrote "you can only have one active account" - If you meant you can only be signed in to one account at a time, then yes, this is true. You can, however create multiple SoundCloud accounts, as long as you use unique & valid email addresses for each of them. In order to switch between accounts on your phone, you'll have to sign out, then sign in to a different account. (Bear in mind that if you have SoundCloud Go/ Go+ and synced content for offline listening, this content will be removed if you sign out).
