I got a strange e-mail

Hello Soundcloud community,

i registered my account yesterday and i got an e-mail from: NO-REPLY@soundcloudmail.com to link my e-mail to my account.
In this e-mail was a hyperlink that linked to a soundcloud url, so far so good.

Later that day, i got another e-mail from this mail address: hello@soundcloud.com which seemed to be a confirmation mail.
The link in this pointed to an url with the name http:// mandrillapp.com.

So my question is, was the second mail part of the registration?

Hi there Spyrekt,

I've had someone from our Trust & Safety team look into this. All good, no phishing, no spam. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for staying vigilant but this was us indeed.

Sounds bogus—spammer/phishing link. Don't click it!
Thanks for the reply, but isn't there any way to contact the support staff of Soundcloud?

Well, for save measure i'm gonna change my passwords then 😕

Well, that is good news then!

I'm relieved that everything was part of the registration procedure.

Thank you for looking into this matter, i appreciate it 😃
