Random songs added to my likes
I have SoundCloud go. There's this recurring problem where random songs from different artists keep showing up on my likes list when I've never played them before or liked them... I go and unlike them one by one and random "liked" songs pop up one after another. Sometimes when I unlike them they automatically re-like themselves. They also show up in random places in my likes list.. but I really don't know what the issue is it's very frustrating.
I would just like to add that I am also experiencing this problem and I do not have SoundCloud Go. So this appears to be an issue across the board.

I have unliked this song off my profile twice now and I woke up this morning only to see it liked once again. I am unsure if there is some workaround that users have found to basically force your account to like their song but I would definitely investigate these users.

I think it would be very hard to exploit the security of people's accounts to force liking a song, but I also have gotten tracks liked that I never liked. I think it's a problem with SoundCloud itself. For me, the tracks that were liked had all been promoted tracks.

I have this problem. I usually get around 3 random songs added to my likes a week. Usually rap and stuff. If any more pop up, I'll link them here.
I am now having random people appear as "Followed" even though I have never once listened to their music. In the last few days, the below people have showed up as followed:

This has been happening to me as well. Just about every time I go to check my likes to listen to something, I find a handful of songs I've never heard of in there.
This is happening to many people.
I constantly have to delete crappy songs from my likes, and channels with horrible music from my follow list.
This has been going on for a year and has been reported in many topics without any constructive answer or resolution.
I'm beginning to suspect this is not a bug at all, but a deliberate tactic of soundcloud to promote certain songs and channels, that are opposite our tastes but somehow benefit the site and the artists involved to get extra traffic/plays to those songs and accounts.
This is starting to make this site unusable. If this continues, I will find alternatives that don't exploit their users in this manner.

This keeps happening to me also... I go on to view my likes on SoundCloud and listen to them, but there are around 2-3 songs randomly added to my list each time I have a look! I never even listened to them before, I was starting to think I was going crazy.
This is madness. Sort this out SoundCloud. I mean seriously wtf? I don't appreciate my account being 'used' to add like numbers to some BS that I don't even like or think is trash (which is a lot of the time something is added like this).

This keeps happening to me and it's honestly pissing me the fuck off. I've had my Soundcloud account for 4 years now, and its coming to the point where I have to stop using it.

I have the same problem. Random songs keep appearing in my likes - usually cheesy autotune trap or hip-hop. I've unliked them but they keep coming back. One artist in particular is Savage 100. I don't remember ever listening to their music, let alone liking it.
This happened to me before, though I deleted them before I found this topic. Just got back on today and there were three more 'liked' songs that I hadn't liked:

I was thinking the exact same thing! This has been happening to me and I was recently offered a trial subscription for SoundCloud Go but as long as this problem persists then I will not be renewing my subscription at the end of my trial period. And to any SoundCloud moderators that are reading these post let me let you in on something. A like is a form of expression or voice. An Account represents the person who created the account. Using someone's account to like media that the account holder doesn't actually like is unfair and and a limitation of free speech. Essentially you are speaking on someone else's behalf. Also you may be violating someone's religious practice because some cultures and religion do not accept certain genres of music. By liking these tracks they are being added to our "liked" playlist causing unexpected tracks to be played without any form of notice. Imagine if someone is hosting a formal event or a children's party and Trap music starts to play through the speakers... If this is deliberate then it needs to be stopped at once as this is technically a violation of free speech and if someone wants to be nasty they can actually try you in court for this. Mark my words you have lost me as a SoundCloud go member because of this and you will lose others too. The best way to offend someone is to speak on their behalf. Are any of your employees )familiar with the term "Speak for your self".
Just wanted to add that this is still happening. I had one song added last night and another this morning. Why is this still an issue? Does Soundcloud not care?

Everybody that this is happening to should check their Settings under the three-dot button on the right of the top menu bar.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Account page and look at "Connected Applications". If any company is listed other than Soundcloud.com and Help Community make sure you revoke their access.
It would be good if you could take a screenshot or list the company name here.

I've only ever really used Soundcloud to dump little WIPs and stuff for me to listen to later so it's fairly obvious when a bunch of krunk stupidity shows up in my likes and followed lists. It's pissed me off for months. Still happening. Yes, I checked my settings, revoked all rights to everything, changed my password, stopped using the iOS app. Still happening. I'm looking for an alternative as I'd like to start taking some music further, but not on a service with this nonsense. I don't have time to be unliking every wannabe rapper that pops up in my likes. No offense to anyone, it's just really frustrating having anything forced down your throat. It's why we hate spam.

I checked my follows after a year or so and discovered that 102 artists were added to my follows. I've never listened to most of the artists that were forced into my follows. I definitely will not be upgrading to Go, especially since there seems to be no actual response or fix to this problem from Soundcloud, besides to link it for them (Not a fix, that's a chore in my case. I already did the work of unfollowing 102 artists, with some of them reappearing right back in my follows). This seems intentional and I'm not a fan of forced promotion. Why would I pay a company to force artists I don't listen to and never followed in my music? Go sounded great, no commercials. I would have paid for that, but not after discovering this mess. You know what's worse than commercials? Having to unfollow 102 artists that I never added to my follows. Most of them were verified, so I'm pretty sure they didn't need fake follows.
Last bit: How in the hell am I posting as Draxsklounst when I'm signed in as my other (first)account? And I'm able to edit this post from my other account?
