Audacity Uploading Problems

So, I use Audacity to make my recordings (as I've said on my channel description). I tried uploading one track onto SoundCloud. However, it didn't work. It couldn't process the track. So, my question is can SoundCloud actually upload tracks from Audacity? If so, then how? Should I change the kind of audio it is?

I couldn't find your specific profile, seems there are a few people known as "The Basher".

If you are trying to upload an audacity project file (which, if memory serves me correctly, is a .aup file) then this wont work as its not an actual audio file. You would need to export the file to one of the following formats that Soundcloud is able to process:

AIFF, WAVE (WAV), FLAC, ALAC, OGG, MP2, MP3, AAC, AMR, and WMA

MP3 and WAV are probably the most popular, but whatever you prefer to work with. The below will give you a step by step instruction on how to export your audio projects in Audacity.

The same thing's happening to me except mine is an mp3 and it still doesn't work. Help! Never mind! I exported it in a different folder I didn't see. Now I went to Desktop, then My PC, then Downloads so it'd be more accessible.
