Cannot change Profile URL

Hi all,

We are just starting out on SoundCloud, and are using a pre-existing account one of our members had but never used. However we would like to be able to change the profile URL from ‘pkmntalk’ to ‘prattle’. We have tried changing it in the profile editing window but whenever we press save nothing happens, and it doesn’t update. Can anybody help?

I'm having the same issue. The save button isn't doing anything and my URL that I am choosing follows the guidelines and is not taken.
i'm having the same issue. and it appears to be an issue with scripting errors, CORS security and XML parsing errors.

others see these errors in the console?

@Prattle better late then never... I've looked into this one and the URL you were going for was blocked due to it belonging to a "fake" account. This is confusing when another user (you, in this case) is trying to grab the URL, but it's basically sitting in quarantine for said reason.

If by any chance this is still relevant now, go grab it.

i opened a ticket the other day, but haven't gotten word. i simply want to use my username as the profile url: brentpruitt.
@Mathis still no word from the Trust and Safety team… any idea on how to track this issue with them? i never received notification that a support ticket was actually created.

i'd like to be able to update my profile url soon, so i can promote my account, etc.
