Question

Image Quality for Artwork

I'm noticing a rather significant degradation of artwork quality after uploading. Is there anything that can be done about that? I'm using a file with double the minimum required pixel count and not over the 2MB maximum file size.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Its not like crazy pixelated. But it is degraded. I'm only really seeing it when I zoom on the art to see the written by credit. Then it becomes obvious. I'm of course creating/saving and uploading within the requested specs.

Thanks for replying Mathis!

Hi there,

Hmm, I'm not sure which artwork you're referring to, but the images I'm seeing on your public profile looks quite crisp to me. I'm afraid there is not much more I can recommend. iTunes & other services ask for artwork that is square and between 1400x1400 and 3000x3000 px in size, so I would shoot for these dimensions on SoundCloud as well to make sure it is shown with the highest possible resolution across all platforms.

Cheers
