My name is Áliyen.
I recently attempted to upload a sexy mashup of "How Low" by Ludacris & "Head Splitter" by Getter, one that would get a lot of attention, likes, reposts, comments, and followers.
However, the copyright robot took it down.
I have obtained permission from the original song owners to upload this mashup; I even said so in the dispute, but the robot still rejected my claim, and won't let my fans see the awesome remix I spent so much time on.
At first, I was asking it be let uploaded... But now, since this is starting to become an issue, I'll be forced to pursue legal action if it's not uploaded within 48 hours.
My followers need to hear this mashup, it destroys 99% of the other 1,000+ remixes Soundcloud HAS ALLOWED to be uploaded.
Here are just some examples of this exact song you've let upload:
And that's not even the whole list... There's 500+ more.
If Soundcloud will let all these other users upload their mashups of this song, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to.
If you refuse to let me upload what you've let hundreds of other users upload, it's discrimination, and I'll have to take legal action.
I'd rather not have to do this - I've been a loyal Soundcloud member + contributor for a while (plus I pay $15/month to be a premium user); but if I continue to be treated unfairly, I will retaliate.
With all due respect, let me upload my version of the song hundreds of users have uploaded their versions to.
