I have upoladed this track - https://soundcloud.com/cage-creed/invictus - and it sounded just fine. In a week or so I tried to play it, and it sounded horrible. As if it was like 64kbps. I deleted the track and uploaded it once again - same problem.

@VIZITOR - yours might have been an encoding issue for the particular track you've uploaded. Is this now resolved, or does the weak quality of the track persist? (it sounded fine when I played it just now, however I would need an a / b comparison for this).

I've heard multiple ways to solve this:
cut everything above 16k
only upload waves
lower your limiter ceiling to -1.1 db
lower the volume of your hihats
if you do all that the chances of having muddy hihats are rather low
