Everytime I try to upload my song it says "upload failed" why is that?

I was able to upload successfully last year but every time I try an upload in the last few months I get the same error.
I'm on the latest app and have removed and reinstalled and accepted all Android V9 privileges but no joy.

Hey there,

I've looked into this for you - you've currently uploaded 182 min of content, the total quota for free users is 180 min. This means that a) your oldest upload is currently hidden, and b) you cannot upload more content.

Since uploading content is mainly considered something done via a computer web browser, error messaging on other platforms (or apps) is often misleading. This is unfortunate.

How can you tackle this issue now? Easy.

Option 1: delete some of your content to make space for new uploads (you can see all public, private and hidden tracks on your "tracks" page at https://soundcloud.com/you/tracks)
Option 2: Upgrade to SoundCloud Pro (360 min of total quota) or SoundCloud Pro Unlimited (no total upload limit) over at https://soundcloud.com/pro
