Doesn't work for me when trying to "Replace File." Maybe it works for a new upload but I couldn't check that.
Userlevel 3
@sonicdeviant Change
code:
// @match https://soundcloud.com/upload

to
code:
// @match https://soundcloud.com/*

for replace

this code be for fix of failed loading ill-formed script temporary
you'll have to remove this code when fixed the issues by Official Developer
I tried this with a small file - and it worked with Chrome Browser...

Userlevel 1
Thanks for the attempt. Unfortunately, it doesn't even work for me for the regular upload.
Userlevel 3
@sonicdeviant Oh, What kind OS and Browser of do you use?
Userlevel 1
MacOS High Sierra and Chrome.
Userlevel 1
I'm really hoping this works.

Funny how it's up to the users to find a solution rather than SC crew who've been completely silent about this lmao

IT WORKED!
Thank you so much! ^-^

(and no thanks at soundcloud for being absolutely not helpful at all lmao)

seriously this really saved me bless you

You are a genius.

Dear SC Human Resource Department,

Once your on-call engineers found that already fucked up SC's reputation and chose to stay silence about it, you are responsible for searching for a competent person who is well-rounded in this situation. And I highly recommend Angeart, a valuable customer of SoundCloud who apparently can perform even better than the engineer team approved by SoundCloud, a world-recognized company.

Shame on you,
Wilsonkoo

This solution for who wants to say "No" on Analytics.
  1. Install the Tampermonkey from Google WebStore
  2. open Upload Page
  3. Select "Add New Script" From the Tampermonkey
  4. Inject this code
code:
// ==UserScript==
// @name SoundCloud workaround
// @namespace http://tampermonkey.net/
// @version 0.1
// @description try to take over the world!
// @author You
// @match https://soundcloud.com/upload
// @grant none
// ==/UserScript==

(function() {
'use strict';

// Your code here...
window.ga = () => {}
})();

Thanks for the solution. It works!

A miracle - it worked! What is the reason behind this tampermonkey workaround?
Thanks @Angeart

Apparently, something is wrong with the way the Google Analytics scripts are being imported. It works fine if you have your SC account opted in to usage tracking, but not if you disabled it - which is also why some people didn't have any trouble uploading.

The GA scripts seem to 'die' when you're opted out, subsequently killing most of the rest of the AJAX scripts SC is using.

@Oorlab you're welcome ;)
It's actually problem, cannot load Google Analytics Module when Analytics set to "NO" on User setting.
I injected the code to avoid it.

yeah That's right.
