Eliah Seton
Chief Executive Officer
Eliah Seton is the Chief Executive Officer of SoundCloud, responsible for leading the company’s strategy, operations, and executive team, and working closely with the Board. He joined SoundCloud in 2021 as President, overseeing its Creator and Roster divisions, as well as M&A, business development, and content partnerships. He was appointed CEO in 2023.

Previously, Seton spent over a decade at Warner Music Group, most recently as President of Independent Music & Creator Services, where he led ADA Worldwide and launched WMG’s Arts Music division -
quadrupling ADA’s size and expanding its global footprint. He previously served as SVP, Strategy and Operations, and led the CEO Office.

Seton serves on the boards of the Harmony Program, Hasty Pudding Institute, and Bedford Historical Society. Seton is a Harvard College and Harvard Business School graduate.
Maurice Slade
HEAD OF MUSIC
Maurice Slade is the Head of Music at SoundCloud, where he leads the company’s global music strategy across artist development, cultural programming, and partnerships. Maurice is focused on supporting creators at the earliest stages of their careers and protecting space for experimentation in an increasingly algorithm-driven industry.

Since joining SoundCloud in 2022, Maurice has strengthened the company’s artist-first positioning and expanded its roster and partnership strategy. He has led high-impact joint ventures with Quality Control’s Solid Foundation, Kei Henderson’s Third & Hayden, and IIIXL Studios, helping to discover and develop the next generation of talent. Under his leadership, SoundCloud has driven breakout success for emerging artists including Laila!, while also securing exclusive releases from chart-topping SoundCloud-native artists such as Yeat, Lil Nas X, and Lil Yachty,
reinforcing the platform’s role as a launchpad for what’s next in music.

Prior to SoundCloud, Maurice held senior marketing and strategy roles at Epic Records, where he led campaigns for global artists including Travis Scott and 21 Savage, and at Roc Nation, developing creative branding and marketing strategies for artists such as J. Cole, Rihanna, Kanye West, and Big Sean. He began his career at Universal Motown, contributing to the brand-building of artists including Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Kid Cudi.

A co-founder of culturally influential live-event platforms including Grits & Biscuits and Dial-Up, Maurice brings a unique perspective that bridges digital platforms and real-world community building. His leadership reflects SoundCloud’s commitment to empowering artists, fostering authentic fan connection, and shaping how the next generation of creators are discovered, supported, and sustained.
Tom Sansone
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Tom Sansone is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SoundCloud, overseeing all operations at the company. 

Prior to joining SoundCloud in 2024, Sansone served as CFO of Kobalt Music Group, where he was a key figure of the company’s operational restructuring, capital planning, and successful sale. Previously, Sansone was Gilt Groupe’s COO and CFO, where he was instrumental to its profitable growth. 
Sansone serves as a member of Blair Academy’s Board of Trustees and is an angel investor for the Angel Capital Association and Georgetown Angel Investor Network. Sansone is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Ama Walton
EVP & GENERAL COUNSEL
Ama Walton is the EVP and General Counsel at SoundCloud, managing business and legal affairs with a global team of legal experts in content licensing, copyright, data protection and privacy, and corporate policy.

Since joining SoundCloud in 2021, Walton has played a key role in launching Fan-Powered Royalties in 2021, including securing global licensing deals with Warner Music Group and Merlin. Her work has been vital to developing SoundCloud's legal framework regarding AI. 
Previously, Walton was BMG’s Global General Counsel and CHRO where she modernized their digital recording and publishing licensing framework. Prior to this, she was Constantin Film's music division director, and EMI Music Germany's lead lawyer. 

Walton serves on the Erich Pommer Institute’s Supervisory Board, and is a graduate of Ludwig-Maximilians Munich Law School and King’s College London.
Dan Bettes
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Dan Bettes is SoundCloud’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the company’s financial strategy, operations, and resource planning as we scale our mission to empower creators and fans around the world. He brings more than 18 years of finance leadership in the music and tech space, combining deep industry knowledge with operational rigor.
Prior to joining SoundCloud, Dan held served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Downtown Music Holdings, where he closed -$150M in buy-side music copyright acquisitions and $300M in buy-side company acquisitions, Secured~$300M in aggregate bank financings (term and revolving) to fund acquisitions & lower WACC/increase levered returns, and executed ~$400M sell-side transaction to divest owned
music copyrights, return capital to principal shareholder, and fund growth in service segments of the business.
Prior to Downtown Music Holdings, Bettes was the Director of Financial Operations at Signal, a B2B customer intelligence technology company that was acquired by TransUnion. Earlier in his career, Dan was a senior associate in Audit & Enterprise Risk Services at Deloitte, and earned his Master’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Michigan State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
At SoundCloud, Dan plays a central role in aligning financial discipline with our creator-first strategy – ensuring we build sustainably while investing in products that put artists and fans at the center.
Devi Mahadevia
CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER
Devi Mahadevia is the Chief Growth Officer at SoundCloud, overseeing the company’s strategy, business development, and M&A. Devi joined the company as the SVP of Strategy in 2023, where she led strategic efforts for the platform and consumer partnerships. 

With over 20 years in tech, entertainment and media, she led various partnerships teams at Meta, focusing on scaling content distribution and managing consumer partnerships across the company’s entire product portfolio including Facebook, Instagram, and immersive experiences
with Reality Labs. Previously at the NFL, NHL, and Comcast, she led corporate and business development, generating new media deals and revenue streams through equity and alternative investment strategies. 

Mahadevia serves as the executive sponsor of Clouds of Color. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BS from the University of Maryland.
Jennifer Caserta
Chief People Officer & CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER
Jennifer Caserta is the first Chief People Officer at SoundCloud, overseeing culture, talent acquisition, total rewards, facilities and the workplace experience for its global workforce. Caserta leads a global team across four locations and reinforces SoundCloud's People practices with proactive solutions, an enriched employee journey, and ensuring alignment with company goals. In 2025, Caserta also became SoundCloud’s Chief Diversity Officer, spearheading its comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy for its global workforce, while ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Before joining SoundCloud in 2022, Caserta was the Chief Transformation and People Officer at AMC Networks. In this role, she successfully modernized the company’s global HR and internal communications. Prior to that, Caserta was IFC TV’s President, where she drove the network’s brand and business transformation with numerous critically acclaimed and award winning comedy series.

Caserta sits on the board of directors for Autism Speaks and the Anderson Center for Autism’s PR committee. She is a graduate of Hunter College.
Steve Abrams
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Dr. Steve Abrams is SoundCloud’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading SoundCloud’s global engineering organization and driving forward its innovation roadmap, with a particular focus on AI/ML, artist-to-fan engagement, and creator-first product strategy. He brings exceptional experience scaling technology for both consumer and creator ecosystems.

Before joining SoundCloud, Steve served as Senior Director of Engineering at YouTube Music (Google), where he built and led teams focused on artist tools, personalized recommendation systems, and advanced music- and user-understanding powered by machine learning. Under his leadership, YouTube
Music’s subscription business grew by more than 500%.

Earlier in his career, Steve was part of the executive team that launched IBM Watson, applying artificial intelligence to enterprise problems. He also led data science and predictive analytics initiatives across global operations at United Technologies, and architected a highly scalable platform to facilitate radical transparency at Bridgewater Associates, under founder Ray Dalio.

At SoundCloud, Steve is charged with elevating engineering excellence and advancing our vision of a platform where creators and fans connect more deeply — powered by technology, anchored in trust, and built for the long term.
Marni Greenberg
CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Marni Greenberg is the Chief Communications Officer at SoundCloud, overseeing the company’s global external and internal communications. She leads the integrated function responsible for all external and internal PR strategy, media relations, executive communications, crisis and issues management, and the company’s storytelling, reputation, and brand voice worldwide.

Prior to joining SoundCloud in April 2024, she was VP of Communications at Sofar Sounds, where she elevated the
company's public profile by leading their global communications strategy. She previously led YouTube Music’s global communications team as the Head of Music Communications, transforming its brand reputation. Before this, Greenberg was instrumental in launching impactful campaigns at Spotify as their Head of Product & Partnership Communications, such as Spotify’s beloved Discover Weekly playlist.

Greenberg is a member of Eleven75 and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
