SoundCloud in a New Light: Dark Mode is Here

Dark Mode is now live on SoundCloud for web, bringing a sleek, modern look that gives artists and fans’ eyes a break while they discover tracks, and connect on our platformÂ
If they prefer light mode, they can easily switch anytime in settings or let their system theme auto-toggle between the two.Â
It’s the user's experience, their choice.
SoundCloud Expands to Mexico 🇲🇽

SoundCloud Go, Go+, DJ, and Student plans are now available in Mexico, giving fans access to premium, licensed music or the freedom to listen for free with ads.
On the artist side, we introduced localized pricing for Artist and Artist Pro, plus the ability to monetize streams directly from fans in Mexico
And that’s not all: we also dropped Buzzing Mexico. This new playlist puts a spotlight on the country’s emerging artists, powered by real fan engagement and our recommendation algorithm.
Artist Pro subscribers can opt in when uploading for a chance to have their track take off across Mexico.
Replace File on Mobile (IOS)

Artist Pro creators can now replace audio files directly from the SoundCloud iOS app, no laptop required. Whether it’s updating a demo or fixing a mix, they can swap audio on both public and private tracks without deleting or reposting a track or losing their stats.Â
This update gives artists more flexibility and control, enhancing the upload and editing experience right from their phone.
SoundCloud’s First Music Intelligence ReportÂ
‍

We launched the first-ever SoundCloud Music Intelligence Report, a data-driven look at what’s trending now, and what’s coming next. From rising country and folk scenes to explosive growth in genres like Plugg, Cloud Rap, and Reggaeton, the report uncovers the artists, sounds, and movements shaping the future.
Key stat: nearly half of all listening on SoundCloud is for music released within the last 18 months. That’s double the industry average, and a testament to our fanbase who are truly defining what’s next in music.Â
