SoundCloud Unveils All-in-One Artist Subscription

2025-10-30

SoundCloud was built to help artists share their music, grow their careers, and get rewarded for their work. Today, we’re taking that promise even further with the launch of two new additions to our Artist and Artist Pro subscription, making this truly an ‘All-in-One’ Artist Subscription — the only plan that gives creators every tool they need to distribute, monetize, and grow their audience, in one place.

With this launch, we’re delivering the most artist-first subscription on the market:

  • 100% Distribution Royalties – SoundCloud will eliminate its distribution revenue share at the end of November 2025, enabling artists to keep 100% of their royalties starting with the next payout cycle. No cuts, no compromises. This includes distribution on all major platforms: TikTok, Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and 50+ more.
  • Fan Support Without Fees* – Direct fan-to-artist support built right into profiles, with zero commission from SoundCloud.
  • On-Demand Vinyl** – Turn tracks into vinyl without leaving SoundCloud. No bulk orders, no upfront costs.
  • Artist Storefronts – Artists can showcase their off platform purchase options directly alongside their music.
  • Artist Merch -  Showcase merch directly alongside music, with all profits going to the artist.

One subscription. Every tool. Full control. Whether you’re dropping your first track or running a growing catalog, SoundCloud is the home for creators.

100% Distribution + Fan Support Feature

Artists who monetize directly on SoundCloud have always kept 100% of their SoundCloud royalties. This update extends that same benefit to distribution royalties, which are artist’s earnings from platforms like TikTok, Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and 60+ more.

In addition to us passing through 100% of distribution royalties to artists, making our distribution offering more competitive from a pricing perspective. We’re also expanding direct fan-to-artist support with our new Fan Support Feature. Here’s how it works:

  • Artists can add a Support button directly on their profile, giving fans the ability to contribute any amount they choose.
  • Fans who donate are highlighted with a new Fan Support spotlight, bringing together a list of top contributors directly on the artist profile page.
  • 100% of contributions go to the artist. SoundCloud will not take a commission.

This means artists not only keep more of their streaming and distribution earnings but also have a powerful new way to build deeper, more loyal fan relationships.

“SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first,” said Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud. “With this launch, we’re taking that mission further by giving artists a truly all-in-one subscription, including distribution without detours, community without barriers, and monetization without compromise, including direct support from their fans.”

This is more than a product launch. It’s a reassertion of what SoundCloud stands for: artist autonomy. Your earnings, your music, your career — you own it all.

Why This Matters

For too long, artists have had to piece together a patchwork of tools to distribute music, engage fans, and earn money, often at the expense of their independence. SoundCloud’s all-in-one subscription changes that. By bringing everything together in one plan, creators can spend less time managing logistics and more time building their careers.

Hear It From the Artists

As part of this launch, we’re spotlighting the artists who’ve been piloting these features — from bedroom creators earning their first dollars through fan support, to independent stars pressing vinyl for global fans without a label. Their stories are proof that when artists keep more of what they earn, they can reinvest in their craft, their community, and their future.

SoundCloud let me go from uploading ideas in my room to running my own operation. I can release music, talk to fans, and turn their support into real movement" said artist DXRKNOVA "It’s wild that I can handle everything from releases to merch without leaving the platform.

Our All-in-One Artist Subscription is available today, starting October 30, 2025. Existing Artist and Artist Pro subscribers will automatically gain access to these new features, and new creators can join today at soundcloud.com/distribution/all-in-one

This is just the beginning. We’ll keep expanding ways for artists to earn more and own more, because at SoundCloud, we’re building the future of music with creators at the center.
