More time listening, less time searching

New feature: Now Playing Now on Widgets
We launched Widgets on iOS in July so you could see your favorite playlists, albums, and liked tracks straight from your home screen. Now, keep the tunes rolling with the “Now Playing” widget.
New on iOS…
New feature: Sort and filter your library
Instead of digging to find that track or playlist you added four years ago, you can now sort and filter your entire library. You can find the new Sort and Filter button at the top right of your Likes, Playlists, Albums, and Stations.
Now, you can sort your entire library by
- Recently added
- First added
- By track name
- By Artist
You can filter by your downloaded tracks and playlists. For playlists, you can also filter by the playlists you’ve made and playlists you’ve liked.
With sorting and filtering, you can spend less time finding the old and more time discovering the new.
For Creators…
Find your First Fans
Getting zero plays on a track you’ve worked hard on is frustrating. We know you want to get heard and that you want to build an audience. That’s why we’ve launched a new feature called First Fans - an update that makes it easier for true fans to hear the music you upload on SoundCloud. First Fans taps into our existing autoplay algorithm to recommend your newly uploaded tracks to people with listener profiles that align with your music. Your tracks will be recommended to true fans. By leveraging user activity and listening history, SoundCloud helps get your music the attention it deserves.
