May’s here, and we’ve been hard at work improving music discovery, strengthening artist support, and unlocking new ways for users to connect with music and grow creatively and professionally on SoundCloud. Here’s what’s new this month.
Import Everything, Discover More.

This month, we introduced a new feature that allows users to easily transfer their music libraries - including liked songs and playlists - from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL, Deezer, and Amazon Music*.
With this update, listeners can preserve the tracks that shaped their journey while exploring over 400 million songs waiting to be discovered. From hits to deep cuts, every listen helps support the artists behind the music.
Available exclusively in the mobile app. To get started, users can navigate to their Library and begin transferring their music.
Laidback Luke #1000BPMRemix Party

We launched a new remix campaign for the next generation of producers on our platform with Laidback Luke. Artists have been invited to put their spin on his latest track, “1000 BPM,” a high-energy tech house collaboration with Nostalgix. The exclusive stems are available via the SoundCloud Store.
Artists can upload their remix to SoundCloud using the tag #1000BPMRemix by June 11 for a chance to get noticed by Laidback Luke and the team at Dim Mak Records.
To help them take their track to the next level, SoundCloud is offering a free 30-day trial of Artist Pro for the first 1,000 users who enter the code 1000BPM at checkout.
Fans can also grab the limited-edition 1000 BPM Tee, available exclusively in the SoundCloud Store.

SoundCloud announced a new partnership with Azerion, a leading European digital advertising platform, to bring better, more relevant ads to listeners across 15 key markets including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, the Nordics, and more.
This partnership also expands SoundCloud’s reach into Mexico, one of the fastest-growing music markets, where Azerion’s expertise will help deliver quality audio, video, and display ads.
By combining Azerion’s advanced advertising technology with SoundCloud’s global community of music lovers and artists, this collaboration aims to improve the ad experience while supporting growth across the platform.
As always, we’re committed to finding new ways to support both artists and fans as we grow, together.
